So, at JAFAX, this guy comes up to me and says, "I have kind of a strange request," to which I replied, "Don't worry. You're not the first. What do you want?" He said that he'd like to commission me for a chibi picture of him and his girl friend, and have him proposing to her. We then set up a little surprise. When I finished the picture, I called him up and he headed over with his girl friend. After looking over the things I was selling, she asked him, "Are you thinking of getting something?" I then looked at her and said, "I think I have something for YOU that you might like." I then showed her the picture. She looked at me, looked at him, and he got down on one knee and proposed to her... and she said yes! It was truly a joyous moment. Tears, hugs, and applause. I'm glad I was able to be a part of it. =3 And I didn't charge him for the picture.
