Once upon a time this giant wheel used to run a trolley car from the base to the top of the mountain.

Well since I'm still piggybacking... LOL. Very nice, gives me nostalgia looking at it, the detail in full view is amazing! I am hoever surprised that it's not rusted to badly. Do you know where that is?

I don't remember the name of the mountain, it is in New York. The wheel itself has a very nice coating of rust on it, which preserves it pretty well, your also not allowed to cross the mighty wooden fence (the top of the mountain is accessible through hiking (steep) or car. Theres a nice monitored picnic area located on the top.
