this was meant to be a much larger work, based on folklore which simply turned out to be far too great an idea for someone like me to actually attempt. The original idea was to also mimic "Bird-and-flower painting" but i found it too much of a challenge to get anything down that looked similar that i could be happy with.
I don't really consider this a finished work, but i need to move on from the original idea since i wont make any actual progress on it.

Though i still have a long way to go with water, hopefully i'll be able to mimic the way all those old oil paintings made it look eventually, but i need to practice it a lot more.
And i learnt how to do feathers (among other bird parts) from Kenket, so i can't really take credit for following their example. ;]
