Reading this the line "It seems that light is never missed until it is gone, something which an unfortunately large amount of people do not realize."
I thought about the people who live way up north and how during the winter the sun doesn't rise for an entire month. The line " Then, as I sink to the ground, I realize one devastating fact: I am the sole witness to this wonder." I think of how I love the feeling of being the only one to see such beauty, it makes me feel special and blessed even though I'm not religious. Over all its a very thought inducing piece of writing.

Indeed. I just wish, sometimes, that I was better able to explain the sights in my head. Or that I could draw worth a hoot.

As far as writing better, I just write a lot, so I've had years of practice. It's not that I necessarily write better, I just have a good amount of experience.

I don't write at all and if I do its definitely not about emotion.
