I told the world 'Hey world, I'm blue!'
To which it responded 'Why blue? Boo hoo!'
Oh world, it's not so bad... I mean
better to be blue than grey or green!
If gray, like ashes I'm sullen and set
on the ground,
and I bet
were I green I'd not be too much better
for jealously or something would leave me fettered.
No, better be blue is what I think,
not because being blue means to sink
to the depths of the ocean of deepest despair--
but rather I happen to have blue hair! :D
