It's nice to go for walks in the winter---the cold, brisk air brushing against your chitin (or fur, or scales, or etc.)---as you step through a scene filled with pristine, untouched snow, glistening as the sun shines from overhead. And when you have your own place to return to afterwards---a little sanctuary for when you're feeling a bit too cold during the night---that makes everything all the better.
