Prerarts are a race in the story "Agwilika Rhe" where they are closely related to the agwil (dragon) race. They have similar features, but are notably small and wingless compared to their cousins. The agwilikan and akelikan races in that story also resemble the agwil and prerarts, except being more humanoid. Those humanoid species exist as gwils in my other stories, and is also my 'sona's race.
I happened to put a suyen and prerart model near each other and realized a suyen could feasibly ride a prerart. That possibility got me thinking of bringing prerarts to my other story lines, but they would need to have more differentiation from other races to fit in to those better. So here is the result of that; a more lizardy look for them. Ontakh'in the suyen from Sharpheart is hanging out with their new buddy here.
I may also include giant prerarts, or pri-prerarts, in the Elehura story, that would be big enough for a regular-size human to ride on. That would be revisiting an idea from 2006.
