Problem is we barely have a few art platforms that remain free, hosting services and even politicians are trying to attack even those. It's now impossible to safely take donations for art... donation platforms or payment processors either have a morality police telling you what themes or stories you're allowed to do, and / or are preforming identity theft on creators trying to DOX them under the guise of keeping children safe (from imaginary threats) and other crazy beliefs from the 1800's. The only option is decentralized / distributed platforms and cryptocurrency donations, which are either far from ready and / or filled with scams. This world is a hell I sure can't wait to be off no matter when and how it finally happens.

It's basically pay-to-view porn/explicit pics, it's not a social platform that just so happens to have porn on it, but it was made with the express purpose of posting that sort thing, if nothing else it's honest about what kind of site it is.

Walled Garden effect, most smaller/niche communities are invite-only, with only Discord itself being really able to access/view it in any orderly fashion, and with the millions of posts every day, I highly doubt without someone expressly bringing something to their attention, that they have the staff/resources to actually do something about it. Most Busts/video's you see are the result of people infiltrating and working their way in over several years, which takes time.

They've cracked down, but again, like with Discord, they only have so many staff to moderate content, and when they update tos and such, people will find loopholes, they always do.

Wow... that is so much like me. You perfectly described the things I've been seeing and complaining about for years. Only difference with me is I long stopped caring for connections with other people, I gave that up feeling I have nothing left to do with 99% of anyone on this planet... not like I ever cared to interact with anyone that has a human body in whatever failed dream / simulation we're in, but at least when people were decent and not radical about random things that don't even make any sense I'd interact a little.
I at least wanted to not be constantly harassed by them. There's now an open war against free will and autonomy of thought, in the form of censorship and thought control even against art, in the name of safety from imaginary threats powered by wacky beliefs from 100 years ago. You're perfectly correct that a cult has taken over the world: One that's no longer religious, is leaderless for the most part, and even apolitical despite everyone thinking they're on one side fighting the other. Humanity as a whole has gone down the drain, the last decade shattered the illusion of a civilization we thought we existed... the belief that modern technology brought about any real human advancement was the biggest lie in history, it's the same humanity and society from the days of Jesus Christ just with smartphones and electric cars and pop music.

So much mood man. I closed my Patreon back in the day for very similar reasons. Also been fighting with very intrusive depression spirals, feelings of not belonging and that the greater world hates me.
It's a shit feeling man, especially since no common advice has any effect. (Touching grass or getting more social.). I deathly afraid of witch hunters finding me and trying to destroy me under the guise of "Fighting evil". Ended up in my long hiatus of art here.

You're doing good, try and take care please! There are quite a few of us in this situation: Took me long enough to realize "tolerance and acceptance" was but a false slogan for personal gain no matter who waved it around. I may be able to forgive even the biggest betrayal, but never to trust anything in this world again.
Like I said in other comments: Humanity today is the same as it was more than 1000 years ago, except they now wear business suits drive electric cars and use LED computers. The belief we'd have a modern civilization thanks to advanced technology was just an illusion: Mentally it's the same people from when fire and farming and stone wheels were being discovered, not even the most powerful smartphone coming out tomorrow will change that.
As such they form tribes the same way they did then, with one planetary tribe we typically refer to as the mainstream controlling most of the world. Anyone who is different is instinctively perceived as a threat to the tribe, based on whatever random projections those at its top happen to conceive. Back then they'd do more horrible things to those they perceived as threats, today they use cancel culture and censorship and subtler tools to erase us from existence in every way besides taking our lives directly... can barely be bothered to call that an improvement, though technically it's the one thing that makes this barely better than how it was in the days of Jesus.
We're hated just for existing and being ourselves. That is however no reason to stop: We'd suffer even more if we betrayed ourselves for those that hate us. Those who abuse their power lose it soon enough, and for the ones today I think that time is approaching rather quickly.

Thats a weird thing to notice in the modern world. Been noticing it myself too, where humans say we're all advanced and such yet it's all monkey survival. Riding around in steel wagons, talking to devices. Getting addicted to panels of light. Not saying their bad things but it's a weird spade to call a spade. It's also weird to realize all this yet the normal person is totally blind.
Also it feels with the way people attack others online, it actually requires us to be more selfish. Like in order to keep our self a float. Perhaps a lot of us don't know how to be selfish in a healthy way. Media has taught us all that being selfish is bad and not to make others upset. Yet now, I'm reminded of a line from Megamind. "If I am the bad boy, than I'm going to be the baddest boy of them all." As in, build on what makes one different despite what others think. (As long as it's in a legal and morally safe way.) Because it's who we are, we need to find our own groups. The internet may have connected a infinite human centipede of a**holes but it also helps people who don't fit it, find eachother online. To help find our tribes. (Hope my rambling isn't dumb. lol )

By the grace of God, I found at least two, and that was after years and years of trying and painful failing. Still, it's a daily fight, sadly, more often than not. I know you probably have heard it plenty of times, that things will get better, but sure doesn't feel like it, does it? Well... there is hope, and you aren't alone, in many ways. Maybe you don't believe, but God believes in you, and He will make a way, even if there seems to be no way.
I haven't shut all hope of being a writer or movie maker out of my heart, even though it feels like I'm as far from that as possible.
If you want, this wicker's arms/dms are always open, even if you'd just like someone to talk or vent to. No one is perfect, but I'd do my best to be an... adequate "punching bag". -w-

This was beautiful to see here, thank you. It's feels rare especially in our area to find those who properly understand God or are trying: Usually it's either atheists who think we're all soulless machines that go to some eternal void, or false Christians who use God as a tool to control and impose their will on others.

While I fully agree that emotional support is important and I hope he finds that, those of us in this situation need an even simpler thing: To be left alone and stop being harassed. We're sick of people trying to make everything about some worldly problem some of us don't even know or care about, then endlessly shove it in our faces as if we're obligated to bow to them and whatever moral codes they came up with in everything we do (even making art). This world is going down the drain anyway and no one's in for a good time: At the least let people create what they like freely and stop bullying them for it... like come on, it's like they're actively trying to beat the official hell realm in how horrible they're making this world.
Sorry if I'm repeating the same thing too much... again; I had the same experience and to be fair far worse over the years. Now I see quite a few others here have as well... and what for: Pointless and avoidable reasons, incidents that only exist because human nature and even people in positions of power being unable to help themselves.

I am sorry to hear of your depression spiral, I can sympathize with it, going through various depressive bouts myself. For whatever it's worth, going to give you a metaphysical hug, send good vibes as it were. Hugs are scientifically proven to help against depression/negativity, so I hope someone hugs you physically as well, and here's a link to an image I get good vibes from to share (even if you've already seen it.) I feel for you man, the social culture we have these days is so radically different than it was even compared to just a few years ago, it's not even funny.
Kinda makes me wonder how things are gonna be in 5-8 years from now to be honest, most likely different, but for the better y'know? Always hope for the best.

If things keep going the same way at this rate... I dunno: Maybe in a couple of years we'll be banned for our shading style next. Like someone will find a way to be upset even by a color palette or style of linework, claiming it's a threat because it hurts the eyes or some study found it does something to the brain through a screen. After what we've seen in recent years anything is possible, though if the world doesn't regain its sanity fast I don't think there will be an internet or even electricity by then. Still hoping for the best too though.
Take all the time you need to refocus on yourself, hoping to see you get better someday, and even if you don't come back on the platform or pick up a pen ever again, best wishes goes to you either way!

Good luck, will miss your work, your one of the best vore artists still very active out there, take your time and heal your mind. I've struggled with depression myself so I can somewhat understand how you might feel, maybe not completely becouse everyone is diffrent, but that's beside the point. It's not really the community's that are great, but the people you meet in them that outlast those communities. And here are still good people.
I've only kept two very close friends after meeting many acquaintances. It takes time to find the right people and discern who sticks by. Even if you found friction with those old one places you took comfort in, I assure you there are people in the same headspace as you, and you'll find your way to them eventually. I've been turned away from a lot of places and hobbies I used to enjoy because the culture shifted, but I've found new ones.
Just try exploring some new places, challenge yourself with new things. I wish the best for you.

I would never hold depression against you and it's even more sad that all your supporters don't truly care about you as much as they care about getting off to what you produce.

I feel you my dude. We live in challenging times that are so coarce it can grind optimisme out of the most optimistic of people.... i'm trying to find words to try and disuade you from doing anything "final" but i'm struggling with this as well and i don't realy know why i keep enduring this. I guess i don't want to make my friends and my mom sad. Please don't make us sad :(

At the same time, I am saddened that an interesting comic will not be continued, and naturally I understand your moral burnout, because it seems to me that you have been doing nothing but drawing for the last year. It’s okay to feel stuck, I got the same feeling recently ,and it’s okay to step back and work on things that are meaningful to you. You’ve got support from those of us who appreciate your art, and I hope you find peace and clarity in your journey ahead. You’re not alone and your artwork is amazing. Just keep in mind that I’m making the terminator a reality using rat neurons chat ai and clockwork oranging it. But in all seriousness whatever you are going through, seeing it through will only make you a stronger person in the end as there is an end to whatever misfortune comes our way.
