It occurred to me that small children don't really know when to quit, don't really stop themselves from trying things, and somewhere along the line growing, a fear creeps in. A fear of failure.

I mean when I learned to ride bicycles, I kept falling over, and would get up and keep going before my parents would reach me, running over in panic, they told me how horrified to see my bruised bloody knees at the end of the day, but I just brushed it off cause I was more focused on the fun of riding the bicycle!
Growing up, NOBODY said those things to me!
My parents (especially my father) said the polar opposite of everything there!
