Wanted to write I drew this way before I joined here, but then I noticed this is from 2008 and I joined this site in 2007 already, whoa
Anyway MUPPETS! I'm just posting this as an excuse because I don't have time to draw a ton of muppet fanart right now (I have the urge to draw fanart of something else every other week, last week it was Darkwing Duck)
Which one is your favorite? I adore Kermit and I can't believe I never even tried drawing him before. I also love Big Bird, didn't grew up with him though, however I did grow up with his little nephew Pino (PIENJO). Also Bert and Ernie, ffff. I had a ton of casettes, which were in Dutch ofcourse, but the voices were so well done that Henson allowed the Dutch studio to write and release their own stuff.

I'm pretty stoked that Jim Martin is the guest of honour for Eurofurence this year, I hope he'll do some workshops! :D

OSCAR! Heck yes. I really love how you drew him. Every line really expresses his grunginess in such a true-to-the-character-way.
I can never properly respond when someone asks me my favorite Muppet because I have so many favorites. I've always had a huge soft spot for Gonzo though.

I was able to meet Carroll Spinney at the Toonseum in Pittsburgh back in November and he brought Oscar with him. It was wonderful to watch him perform, and he slipped in and out of character in the blink of an eye.
Jim Martin is a wonderful man and I'm sure you'll enjoy meeting him. He always seems to be smiling!
