Battle at Snowpoint Temple!
So, I had to move on without my good pal the Alolan Vulpix Cloud, due to his sudden disappearance. It hurt quite a lot knowing he wasn't alongside me to travel anymore. But I figured he would at least give me some encouraging words if he WOULD have been around. I decided to visit the Sinnoh region to get some new adventure, and because I'm quite familiar with the region -- even if Hoenn is my preferred place to play and venture in -- I knew pretty much what to expect. Well, except for ONE single thing -- after I got through the simply ANNOYING underground maze that is Mt. Coronet (seriously, that place is ginormous! F*** that hell of a maze), and conquered the blizzards of Routes 216 and 217; I finally reached Snowpoint City. I thought now that I had reached this frigid settlement, I would get an opportunity to meet some of the folk here -- maybe even Candice, owner of the local icy Gym building...
...except...
...the city was totally empty. I figured it always had been, ever since those two from Twinleaf Town visited this settlement litteral YEARS ago. All the houses I checked were empty. In one of them, there was a single torn-down bed and an old TV, but that was it in terms of signs indicating anyone ever living here. The final thing I wanted to try in my quest to find just a slither of life in this place, was to explore the city's centerpiece -- the Snowpoint Temple, which... USED to be guarded by a gatekeeper back when the Twinleaf Town duo showed up, but was now sitting unguarded, for anyone to steal whatever they could find if they were to enter this imposing yet crumbling building. I stepped in front of the gaping entrance, and was about to enter the temple. Suddenly though, I heard an ear-piercing cry, that sounded like someone had just mixed their own voice with the cold winds that were blowing through the abandoned snow-bound city. A Froslass stood in my way. Being a Houndoom -- evolved from the Houndour I turned into when my old friend Cloud and I fell into a transformation machine -- as a Dark and Fire type, I knew this was going to be easy, with Froslass being Ice and Ghost, probably standing no chance against me. That, however, turned out not to be true -- not entirely, anyway. Once the ghost spotted me, she immediately attacked using an Icy Wind. Fortunately, I had several ways to bite back, with... well, Bite, obviously, but a well-aimed Fire Fang would do very well too. I took a battle-ready pose, and retaliated with my own attack. What used to be a place of silence and cold, would temporarily become our battleground. Once Froslass attacked with a surprise Blizzard though, I KNEW this girl had to be AT LEAST decently strong. So I decided to play my own highest card as well -- Flamethrower!
All I had on my mind right now, was my friend, Cloud. It made me sad still, yet it also somehow encouraged me to stay strong. That was when I thought: ''I can do this! I'll do it for you, Cloud.
Let the battle commence!''
Maybe... just maybe... Froslass knew some things in terms of where my friend had gone, and where he currently was. But first, I apparently had to defeat her, before she would maybe be willing to give me some information about what my used-to-be travelling buddy was up to. After I would swiftly defeat her, I would check the local Poké Center and if needed, heal the girl myself with that healing device thing if that meant I could squeeze some info out of the frozen ghost.

Hi Lay as one of my favorite artists you are if you need a friend or Ally or someone to keep you company or be a companion on your adventures. I am here. I'm always excited when you post new artwork and I'm still honored that you did some artwork featuring your characters and my own Mightyena together
I'm sorry your best friend has disappeared. I can't imagine what that feels like, but to let you know I'm here. I know we haven't really talked that much and we're still getting to know each other even though we've been somewhat friends on here for a few years. But I'm more than happy to talk or be included in your adventures and stories. And thank you for being a kind white wolf

Hi, Marry! Thank you very much! I read your comment -- and BlueProto's too -- yesterday, but the screensaver prevented me from being able to immediately respond, which would have been during the moment my feelings were the strongest, thus the encouraging words would have been that much stronger. But to be clear -- that is not your fault at all. That's just an unfortunate combination of circumstances.
Thank you for your kind words, and I'm currently thinking about doing a picture where you and BP are welcoming me at one of Sinnoh's pass-through Gates.

You're most very welcome Lay
That would be a cool picture to see that and I 100% support it
And I am sorry for your friend cloud. I never knew him personally but I saw you looked highly of him and you did a lot of pictures with him. I'm not sure what happened or what is going on, but I'm happy to be your friend. I hope things will work out for you in the future and I hope cloud is okay it's never easy losing friends that you become friends with on this site. I know how it is. I ended up losing like 4 friends or 5 or something like that and it has hurt and killed me ever since friendship loss is not an easy thing or a great thing to go through
