Okay, so this isn't a furry character, but I never said they were all I drew, did I?
Hugar here is a Pathfinder character of mine, but also technically my very first D&D character; way back in 2002, when I was just 15 years old, I played Neverwinter Nights as a Half-Orc Barbarian, and "Hugar Kiburd" was the name that the game's random generator assigned to me. I liked it, and it stuck. When I started playing the actual pencil-and-paper D&D, Hugar was one of the first characters I made.
And now here we are in 2025, and I've shifted systems to Pathfinder 2e. Hugar made the jump with me, but has changed wildly since then. He's still a Half-Orc (or, to put it in 2e Remaster terms, a Human/Dromaar), but instead of a Barbarian he's now a Liberation Champion. His new backstory (in brief) has him rescued from a life of slavery as a child and placed with a pair of tavern keepers, and upon growing into an adult, purchasing some equipment and setting out to repay that debt by saving others from similar situations.
My main regret is that I made his shield a bit too small in this art, but that's something I can refine in his 2026 version next year.
