I actually like how the background turned out because it feels like a disorienting blur of lights and camera flashes, which lends a dizzying flavor to the raw intensity of the moment. Best use of gratuitous lens flare I've seen in some time.

WHOA! O-K! This is spectacular!! Your characters are incredible-- I love how muscular you made Val's arm. That bulge not only shows her athleticism, but just how tightly she's pulling on B-Hop's jersey. That hand behind his head with the claws out show her ferocity. She NEEDS this kiss right now. And Hop's wide-open eye and pulled back elbows shows his surprise, which makes this moment so delightful. The whipping of fabric is incredible-- those jerseys look amazing, loose and snapping, just the way they would if this action were sudden and shocking. And the flashing background just adds fire to it all-- everyone can see. And Val just doesn't care.
