From 2005. Some experimenting with (and perhaps heavy abuse of) Impulse Tracker's low-pass filter feature... and also, specifically, a weird trick that allowed me to use that feature to simulate high-pass filters, something Impulse Tracker did not have at the time. (This trick, by the way, did not require me to use chiptune-like instruments in the song; that was just a style choice that ended up emphasizing the effect rather nicely, I think.)
This is actually the second version of a tune I had originally composed in VERMIN-1 way back in 1997, intended for use in a PC (as in MS-DOS) demoscene production that never got off the ground.
