This year, I wanted to do more of 'Pixel Art' than something hand drawn and I couldn't think of a better example than 'Mario Bros.' Mainly due to the fact I have fond memories of playing this version - both from Mario Advance 2 and the battle mode of Super Mario Bros. 3 from Super Mario All-Stars on the SNES. Had a lot of fun doing the pixel art as well as the pipes and sidesteppers.
