This week's External Influence is the Sphinx Spirit Guide. The Sphinx is a well known icon for riddles and mystery. It is a representation of humankind's greatest need to reach higher potential. The need we have to overcome the past and create a message of love, devotion, and the constant quest for knowledge. It represents our need to know more and to rise above our primal nature. It is most popularly known for the legend that when someone approaches the Sphinx, they will be told a riddle and if properly solved the person will be allowed to pass. If not, they will be devoured by the Sphinx. This is often a representation of the strength and intelligence one had find by working hard to think a problem through or to find answers by searching. As a guide, the Sphinx reminds us to take our own destiny in our hands through dedication and hard work. To remember that learning never ends and to put aside personal strife in order to reach for enlightenment. Don't be afraid by how much there is to learn, but use that as a source of excitement at how far you can grow and evolve.

This week's Rune is Perdhro! This Rune is symbolized as a cup of dice used when casting lots and is connected strongly with birth, kinship, chance, manifestation, and luck. The dice cup that Perdhro shows us represents the universe, the cast cosmos, while the lots within symbolize the energies that change and guide the course of an individuals life. This rune looks at the various aspects of our world in a game-like way. The stationary aspects such as birth and death compared to the always changing events that guide our lives mixed with our need for free will. Perdhro represents memory, particularly that which is passed down through ancestry. And so, this rune reminds us to look at our social circle including family or friends. This rune also represents problem-solving and will indicate the beginning of entering into spiritual enlightenment in which one will learn more about who they really are meant to be. This week, Perdhro reminds us that the world is a give and take. That what we put in is what we will get out. Become aware of the synchronicity of the world around you so that you can access the patterns for manifestation and grow and evolve.Become aware of the consequences of each action you take. By taking part in the Oneness of the universe around us, we can learn how to balance, recognize patterns, and develop our skills of manifestation and personal abilities.

In the Internal Influence position, we see the spirit guide Kestrel. This small, but powerful raptor is known for it's strength, fearlessness, and tenacity. This guide comes to us when we need to view our life from a new perspective in order to gain needed information. Consider your future goals and inner needs carefully. Take time by yourself this week to mull things over, but be careful if you are spending too much time alone. The kestrel guide reminds us to analyze and think carefully as we choose the perfect moment to make our moves. Fully commit and then move gracefully to reach your goals. Strength comes from intelligence, decisive thought and actions. Use your mental abilities to the best you can and use every opportunity you can to learn. This week, soak in all the information that you can in order to help yourself advance and grow into the best version of yourself that you can. Remind yourself that being ignorant is not wrong. Remaining ignorant is what will cause stagnation. Every opportunity is a chance to learn, adapt, and grow. This week is a chance to move forward and allow yourself to advance into a happier and more independent version of yourself. By allowing yourself to learn, to grow stronger, and act with grace, you will allow yourself a chance to become stronger as a singular person. In this way, you will also become stronger within your environment and social groups.
