It's hot as hell outside, a perfect day to curl up in a climate controlled space and work on some art.
This was a pretty simple page. Not much else to say about it. Some exposition, a little character building, and no exploding heads! Wonder of wonders!
I don't think I've mentioned it before, but I have to thank
warrn for providing me with good reference shots of a 1979-80 Ford F-150. How well I have translated said reference material to artwork is another story... I need to work on my consistency :p

You think so? I imagine that in the subsequent pages the expressions are going to get a bit kookier, as the action starts to kick up again.
I'm frankly scared of the next few pages. I got this idea in my head, wrote it down and now I'm afraid of the implications of actually illustrating it. Anyway, I shouldn't say more.
