When I was in school at the Coast Guard, I had a room mate like that. He seemed impervious to the truth that no one believed a word he said. Other than the outrageous stories, he was actually a nice guy.

True 'kid' story. In the house I grew up in, we had a small crawlspace for air circulation I suppose. My brother crawled up there one day and placed a horrible looking Halloween mask on the large wooden slat vent of the living room, and then forgot about it. Of course, one day our step-mother was running the vac, and looked up. It scared the bejeebers out of her and she screamed blue murder.
