Finally had the time to doodle some art of my newest OC, and taekwondo rival to Ralus: Aiden Wilcott Donovan. Seen here taking to the skies and unleashing some nasty midair kicks. Have some lore for his full debut:
When Ralus first set off on his journey to fighter-dom, he had his eyes set on taekwondo. There, he struck up a kinship with a fellow trainee, Aiden. The two were inseparable... until a certain shark scooped the dragon up for tutelage in Muay Thai instead. Aiden was devastated, but kept up with his training until he moved away, a distant memory of Ralus'.
Twenty years later, and Aiden saw a familiar face on the TV. It was Ralus, hot off a win streak in his city's fighting league. The name brought back memories. Painful memories. Enough to where the eagle tracked Ralus down and stomped him into submission after a workout session, as seen here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59131962/
Now back in Syrchester, Ralus' home city, and with a black belt recently obtained, Aiden seeks more strength. He's got a gruff, aloof personality, but he'll always lend a helping talon to those lower than him to improve. Well, except for Ralus, whom he takes great pride in dismantling for his betrayal as a young dragon. All experiences are worth it for Aiden, whether it's helping white belts learn the fundamentals, or challenging higher-level black belts for dominance.
Being an eagle, he's not afraid to spread his wings for some aerial kicking if there are no explicit rules against it. Otherwise, he's just as competent as you'd expect a black belt to be. He may have an air of cockiness, but he has the years of training to back it up.
