One thing I have long admired about Washington are the epic sunsets you get that stretch for hours into the night. This shot was taken on the second longest day of the year, where the sunset seems to go on forever (often continuing until 10PM).

This night was particularly good, as silent set up on a hill to watch it slowly sink behind the clouds. The colors in this shot are just amazing, and they are one of my favorites from the entire shoot.
