I promised with my D&D Mo'o race that I would share their stats once I had a means to sell them as D&D Homebrew content. That is still a work in progress but I wanted to share one of my sillier ideas for a D&D race I came up with mostly as a joke that I thought was funny, and it comes with Free Stats so you can show this to your DM as your next D&D Player character or an NPC in your campaign.
It’s a widely accepted theory that the Gooangoroo are most likely the fault of an inexperienced wizard who combined a Jackalope with a Kangaroo and a Bag of Holding creating a being that moves through space as through boundaries were only a funny suggestion.
The Goorangoroo reproduce rapidly like rabbits, they often travel in troops from one town to another never settling down in one place for very long. Their approach can be identified by the distinct sound of them going "Boing" with every bounce. While technically considered an “Intelligent” species, capable of common speech and can communicate with other sentient races, I will add that calling them intelligent is also considered a funny suggestion or a bad joke. The Goorangoroo are plainly speaking...Idiots with an insatiable curiosity, and can/will get into anything they find remotely interesting with no regards for boundaries or personal space and belonging, filling their pouches with whatever they think is fun. Their pouch acts as a bag of holding. Like Normal Kangaroos they will also carry their young in their pouches so either these pouches are uniquely breathable unlike the standard bag of holding, or it poses the concerning implication that Gooangaroos don't need air to survive.
Ability Scores: Dexterity 3, Charisma 2, Int -2
Creature type: Monstrosity
Size: Medium
Speed: 15ft walking, 60ft Bounding
Jump: You can leap about 40ft vertically and 60ft Horizontally avoiding all obstacles and hazardous terrain on the ground.
Dimensional Leap: A number of times equal to your proficiency per long-rest, you are able to make a portal and teleport a short distance up to 30 ft unobstructed by barriers
Pouch of Holding: Your pouch is a natural Bag of Holding
Homebound: Once per long rest you can teleport back to one familiar location that you have magically marked as your home from wherever you are, even from another plane of existance. This only works 1-way.
Languages: Common, Aussie, Boing, and Didgeridoo
