i do have to say i do get your point. One of my characters is called Pik which in english translated is spades yet the character looks like diamonds which is the joke but that joke doesnt work outside of german.
Your decision is a clever way to handle it but even for people outside of Hungarian Pacal is a nice sounding name so a change isnt really nessecary from my side but no matter if Aiden or Pacal the bull is cool :)

I can totally relate to the language-barrier. Honestly I keep it as a nickname, it's not really going to go away, plus considering his Hungarian lineage, it ties in well with his slang.

well, language barriers can have some funny coincidence too. Like with Pik where 2 friends of mine said that Pik is a slang for penis in brazilian and dutch so yeah it can end up funny too xD

As long as people can understand you with your english you are good enough for talking. Being bad simply means no one can understand you and i can understand you so you are good in english ;)

No worry, I not start judge. Most of my Watcher and Artist I book are Non-English Speaker and Wroter, they use translator instead.
I never spoke about language barriers, it is most use and sign of disrespect.

I wrote English with Dracenmarx last year, flawless. I used one term and he found my location, it is world wide the only word we use for a object in English.

I know what you mean, have it often with Snuff, Scat and Clean artists - Insulting then blocking. They see what they want to see, scat or snuff, and ignoring clean arts.
I guess that is in every fandom the Main problem, looking shortly into a Profil and judge about him/her what they like.
Artist and art should be have separately perspectives.

Bad English annoys me a lot. I even consider myself a "Grammar Nazi".
But I find it much more frustrating when people misuse idioms or get homophones confused, which is much more common with native speakers, than when people get tenses and aspects wrong because English isn't their native language. I know basic French, but I'm not fluent in any language other than English, and it would be hypocritical for me to harshly criticise people for not learning my language when I haven't learned theirs.

I don't understand why why anyone would insult someone for making a translation error. If anyone offered me free art, I wouldn't swear at them for its flaws. If it had a lot of bad grammar (similar to if there was an anatomical feature I didn't like) I'd just ask for it to be changed, and I'd try to not be rude about it. Even if bad English annoys other people as much as it annoys me, attacking you for trying to use English isn't going to help, it will only discourage you from trying to talk to us.

So please keep doing what you do, and know that even people like me who care a lot about grammar, love the concepts you come up with. Ignore the idiots who are rude to you for trying to learn and use a new language.

Most annoying for me are Medias, let's say a book or videogame.
My second Main language is German (study in Germany Medicine), when I play a game or read a book it is literal translated by Google without any check of correctness, most Asia Regions and East Europe use translators, interprets are expensive.
Nothing is wrong for private arts or non-Profit, but in products for real money it should be clear. For products with electricity use it can be very dangerous.

The comic Title is a pun from Scatology, I use a lot terms in my conceptions, works and comms. That are Insiders, almost forgotten knowledge, cultures etc.
The User is or was one of my Watcher, he not understand the message behind, it is a term from English Scatology - Origin: AE & BE.

I use in my works better to flawless English in Speech Bubbles and environment, outside images broken, rare neutral (not FA).
Sometimes I must improvise not all Latin, German, Dutch, Indian, French, and Espanol words are available in English. Medical terms are very, very hard to translate.
I ask often Native Speaker for projects, I avoid Google/Bing and other Translators.
