An idea for a species I had for Felix’s world, that I finally drew out

They named themselves “The Higher Ones” believing themselves to be above all other beings. Though most just refer to them as Brain Cans.

At one point whatever species they once were had gotten so advanced in cybernetics that they all chose to put their brains in a robotic body. Believing it to be the next stage in evolution. As they believe that flesh and blood was weak. All are hundreds of years old at this point

Some Reasons Including
-Dying of Aging
-Physical Exhaustion
-Vulnerability to disease
-Injuries and physical pain

Despite the benefits they claim it has, there’s equally as many downsides they avoid talking about
-Can longer reproduce, dooming their species
-While they cannot die to aging, there is still plenty of other ways they can
-Amount of care needed to preserve their brain
-Very vulnerable to EMPs thanks to their robotic body
