My original species, called a "Jellyhound", isn't normally very quick on land, but when need be it can pick up incredible speed and become agile. It does however come at a cost, and a burst of speed rapidly decreases it's energy levels, making it vulnerable once it tires.

This one is escaping a bullet, it's tentacles curled around it's stomach and gut which are very weak points.

Originally I was going to have the bullet through it's hind leg with some blood spatter, but I don't like to draw gore very much.. Although I think it may have made for a more dynamic sketch.
Poor guy.
