It was an unexpected and very sweet сomm!
Unfortunately, I didn't do as well as I had hoped. I have not been able to stabilize the base enough to avoid slight deformations, and I think that in the future I will have to use a layer of gabardine along with felt to prevent stretching. It's a little sad that I couldn't fix it. Maybe I should give up felt altogether. If I need to put a layer of thick gabardine under the felt, what's the point of the felt itself? Well, apparently it is.

No, what??!! don't give up on this art style!! Imperfections make sus humans perfect, I wasn't expecting an identical replication of the original artwork, if not, I would have started complaining that the thread was not the same identical color as the art. The ting simply requires practice, and I and
BosonicVinegar loved the hell out of it!! it's simply an element of beauty ^//^

Thank you, I really hope he likes it.
However, I tried to stabilize the felt so that it wouldn't stretch, and I failed. I see that I should give up embroidery on it because I embroider very tightly.
I like the wide range of colors it has to offer, but in the end, gabardine has a lot of shades too, and it suits me better, it tolerates me.

Well, that's a completely different matterXD
The felt (despite the fact that I use hard Korean) still stretches during operation - and this is very bad. So I intend to abandon it, but leave it for a mug stand, a patch, a bookmark and other things with an applied meaning. It's going to be even harder for me, but at least it's justified. Embroidery on felt is difficult because it is thick. After half of the work, my tendons literally get inflamed, and this pain goes away for quite a long time. It's sad, because felt is such a great thing, but it shouldn't stretch. This is unacceptable:V
I have a big embroidery that I started a few years ago, also on felt. However, she also has problems with stretching. I used a cloth with an adhesive layer to try to stabilize the felt, but it didn't work. Maybe I'll try some thin but not stretchy fabric as a lining... Embroidery on felt looks quite different than on cotton or gabardine, but there is a problem of stretching. My bitter enemy!
You never know what might work, let alone the physical exertion you'll have to put up with in the process.

Oh my gosh was it the Korean type you bought that did it? That sounds so bad that you'd hurt from doing it!! I know you done felt before, is it just because you used a different kind? I don't think you'd of ever tried it again if it hurt that bad the other times but maybe your just tougher then me XD
Maybe I don't know anything about stitching so I don't know if this would help but if you sewed the corners of the fabric to something to keep it still would that help or would it still stretch? I know they have those loops that people use too, my mom use to do that when I was a kid, she gave up from her arthritis. But that defiantly doesn't seem fun to do if it hurts you! I know you'd done a lot of felt projects before so I didn't know if this was a new problem or if this is a problem every time. I hope it's not every time oh my gosh XD

I mean, Korean felt is a quality product. I specially bought it for embroidery, but it still drags a little in the process. It's not the fault of the material. Well, I've already embroidered on felt more than once, and by the end of the work it always hurts, because the embroidery becomes very dense. Piercing a dense surface with a thin needle of 2 mm is not the easiest task
That's the thing, the felt stretches on its own, I can use an embroidery hoop to fix the fabric, but it stretches anyway. Pain is unpleasant, but it occurs from time to time in different types of craft. I'm not thrilled, but it's kind of like an occupational hazard:3

I want to test the printing of an embroidery pattern on fabric (or painting on fabric with textile paints) in order to embroider on top of this pattern. It would be much more pleasant, easier, and I would not embroider so tightly, since the warp fabric would not be visible between the stitches. This could solve my problem. But I don't live in the city, so finding a printing company that will do it inexpensively is also a problem.
Besides, I have little motivation to do it just like that. I mean, I wouldn't mind taking the time to find a printing company and order a print if I had work commitments. I just don't want to do such a thing for myself. There is no suitable drawing, I don't want to spend extra cents on it, I don't want to start another personal project. Maybe later I'll find a client who would be interested in testing one of the options.
And this assumption is not crazy at all, considering that your friends hired me to carve wood, which was a complete surprise, not to mention the absence of such a craft in my profile. If it's not a fascinating coincidence, I'm not sure what else it could beXD

Oh gosh I'm sorry to hear that so many of your projects cause you to hurt! but I guess they say that all the best art is made with blood, sweat, and tears XD For to print it on fabric would it not be possible to do it with a printer at home? I know some home printers can do stuff like that, and I know some of them are "cheaper" then going to get it done by a shop every time. My friend told me it's cheaper to buy a laminating machine then to go pay to get things laminated at a shop. I'm sad you can't find the way to do more personal projects some time. Maybe you can try to have a tip jar with the option of "help me fund personal projects". I've seen artists do stuff like that before, and your art is good enough that I think it would be worth it for people :D
And oh wow XD Well I'm sure they trust you and I would too! That makes me excited to see what you do for them ^^

A "suitable" printer is very expensive. In fact, you shouldn't print on it anyway, it's inefficient and can damage it. It's irrational for me to want to purchase it, because it could cost me something like $400 + printing supplies. I would be a fool if I decided to buy it, given that it doesn't perform its function well (I would have to transfer the drawing for a long time, and it would still look unreliable for work) and I don't need that much printing. Of course, when I need something, I check the options, so no, it's not an option. The only option is to order the print every time.
I'm not sorry that I don't do personal projects. I literally don't want to do them, I'm not interested in working for myself. I have links to tips too, but it doesn't mean anything. I also don't like the subscription format, so I just work for others if there are any:3
It would be nice to have donations for the fact that "I'm such a cool deer," but all there is is a tip jar. Again, no one wants to pay someone for nothing, or almost, so that's okay. I think I can work for at least 20 years before I start having serious problems with my eyes or hands. I would like more, but who knows. First of all, I need to reach the salary level of 10 dollars/hour lol, it will take a couple of years.
Ha ha! They get WIPs, you could ask them, they're unlikely to refuseXD
