"Humans, you will repeat to us what you said to our daughter," the huge sea-dragon, who appeared to be growing legs as the humans watched rumbled from his lengthy neck. "We could not hear you from over there." He motioned with one whisker a short distance away. Another of the four tendrils fell with a thump across the shoulders of two men and drew them together with the barest of effort. The glowing bulb at it's end shifted until it hovered just before the pale-faced men in camouflaged patterned fishing gear and emitted a bright amber light. They stared without moving for several seconds, not even realizing that their slack jaws began to drool. The digger daughter beneath him spoke briefly in a high throaty voice.
"You should go, humans. Not welcome here!"
One of her father's other whiskers swooped down to make brief contact with her head. A caress that she leaned into even while keeping her sharp eyes on the immobile, yet aware, men. Her snorkel bobbed against her head with her movements.
"Leave this place now," the father snarled, pushing the two men to the ground after turning off his sensory bulb. They lay unmoving for a moment before looking around and screaming. Not even fully understanding what they saw, they scrambled quickly to their feet and fled to a nearby marina office. A boat crashed into the roof scant seconds later with keening screams of terror from within the office as the furious father roared with all his fins flared, tail and whiskers both lashing. "And don't ever let us sense you again!"

This papa doesn't mess around
To think that such big creature has cloaking ability is kinda scary even but impressive
And it seems that even such relatively thin compared to body whiskers have quite enough strength to overpower something of the size of man which is also quite cool
Though I wonder - what if people don't provoke them and just don't try to bother them, the reaction would be the same? Overprotective behavior can be a problem especially in dense population and widely spread social interactions

It's not strictly stated what the water-dragon used to throw the boat. It could have been a hand or his tail. But the whiskers do have some strength to them. They'd have to be able to support their entire lengths in the air from a single anchor point.
And the unspoken expectation among dragons is if the humans don't mess with them, they don't mess with humans. Except for hatchlings who don't better. They can be pretty aggressive protecting their own for story plot reasons, though. Mostly has to do with humans attacking them with military hardware all the time.
