The ocean breeze was warm in the early summer. A soft wind blowing the smell of the ocean throughout the main capital, as seagulls and other birds would perch ontop of the many building's rooftops.
Sounds of ships pulling into the massive dock below, sheltered from sight as two large beacons of light beckoned any would be traveller into its port. As cargo was hauled back and forth amongst the vessels, with traders going to the market, soldiers keeping an eye on any would be thief.
But if one listened closely, the sound of the clashing of weapons could be heard, the soft grunts of two young nephilim as they moved with one another in a dance that only those who were trained could perform. Sleek movements of their body, each stroke and strike countered or blocked.
And all of it under the watchful gaze, or condecending view, of a dark panther.
"Pick up the pace... You are slacking. And move those feet!" The voice bellowed in direct and quick orders. As the two men adjusted to the commands almost instantly. "You may be Nephilim, but if this was a real fight, or worse a battle, you'd be dead before even spreading your wings!"
It was normal for young Nephilim to learn how to fight and defend themselves. And whilst any form of training included only non lethal weapons and tools. Being struck by one of them would still hurt, a lot. As such an instructor, often a veteran of wars, would correct any would be fighter on the spot.
Mar, is one of those veterans, a grizzled fighter who has seen his fair share of action, blood and death. And currently, both Tio and Anakim, are finding out the hard way, what it means to be drilled by a real professional.

0laffson, I kid you not when I say that this waterpainted piece has blown me away. A beautiful scenery of my version of Atlantis, in which my Nephilim used to have a home.
On top of that, worth the wait! And I wish to thank 0laffson once more for bringing this world alive through their art!

Oh certainly! I've definitely set out to help with the direction for the stuff I've commissioned as well, from concept sketches, however basic/rough, to photos/other images for "kinda like *this*" references. I've been quite satisfied with pretty much every bit I've commissioned to date! :D
Anyways, back to the main point, you got yourself a sweet piece there! X3
