James Bristol- Travis’ best friend since 5th grade, the two have always hung out since they lived in the same cul-de-sac. While the cardinal had a crush on Tiffany, he later backed off when James started dating her. Travis often invites James to his football games for free.



Tiffany Zeola- Is a very close friend of his as a neighbor of his family's while growing up. Also belonged on the same clique of jocks and athletes at school.



Eric Hayes- His other best friend in the sports world, though they play two different activities. Travis plays football while Eric does wrestling. The two like to hang out with James if Tiffany is too busy.

Backstory:
Travis was born to former football player Larry Nevers, and his journalist wife Sandra in a middle-class home in Alostet, in the same neighborhood as the Bristols, Sanders, and the Zeolas. As a result, the young Travis quickly made friends with his neighbors, especially taking a liking to James Bristol and his brother Arthur, as they grouped up with the other kids in the area to play football in the local park.



Eventually, due to paternal pressure, he got set to join a children’s football team to walk in his father’s footsteps. He eventually worked his way up to varsity in high school with Arthur as his most trusted receiver as Travis specialized in the quarterback position. He went on to win the state championship in his senior year. Thanks to his good grades and outstanding play, he got granted a scholarship to Makhani University along with Arthur, which made James slightly envious of his best friend as the hedgehog had to work much harder to get a scholarship. However, he still is proud of his childhood friend for making it to the big leagues.



However, Travis is uncertain as even if he does make it to the pros, his career could be cut short by an injury, so he has to work quick to get his degree as a backup plan in case his football career falls short.
