Commissioned from
footpaw-fetish, but due to circumstances beyond anybody's fault, it was never completed. ^^ *Hugz to FPF*
Sooo, I've noticed quite a bit of stuck fetish work on the interwebz, where a character finds themselves helplessly stuck to something - an object, themselves, sealed into an outfit, stuck to the floor, slowly being turned inanimate, etc;...but nothing going the opposite way. Opposite of sticky = slippery. :)
This then, was the result of that line of logic. My winged centaur girl Windrunner has found herself in quite the slippery situation here; she was trotting around (she was meant to be in her own kitchen...I was picturing her living in a cottage speciailly designed/scaled-up for a tauroid) and slid in a puddle of cooking oil, having not noticed she previously spilt a bottle of said oil all over the floor. Her bare hooves don't have brilliant traction either, and she can't exactly take off indoors, so.... *evilgrin*
As I said, this was a commission, but never progressed beyond the sketch stage by mine and
footpaw-fetish's mutual agreement. Still, enjoy! ^_^

Uh, sure. :) I was actually gonna commission Railride to colour it, but he's still busily trying to catch up on a bunch of queued commissions 'cos he doesn't get enough time off work. :)
And you are, of course, right about Windrunner's inability to take off from a standing start. Well, not entirely accurate - but it's much harder to make a vertical takeoff, as the forward momentum increases the lift under the wings. She can do it, but it takes a lot longer and is quite tiring. ^.^;

Also, she wouldn't be able to take off even if she was out side.
She requires a running start to take flight.
More specifically, forward movement.
As stated in previous artwork in your gallery.
In this instance, said forward movement is impossible,
due to the slippery floor.
