Um… yeah. This is part of an art-trade with  SiegfriedNox, and basically I told him I'd do something awesome involving My Little Pony. So I crossed it over with Power Rangers in a script format. It makes perfect sense, really! Okay, no it doesn't, but I had fun writing it. For those of you who don't want to download the doc, I'll include it after the credits.

THE PARODY

EXT. THE MOON - BRIGHTLY ILLUMINATED… SOMEHOW
Three Pegasi in black outfits - the Shadowbolts - lift the lid on a golden jeweled container, freeing the black unicorn pegasus Nightmare Moon. A moon-shaped cutie mark adorns her left flank. She lifts her front hooves in celebration, and laughs.

NIGHTMARE MOON
Dyahahaha! After one thousand years, I am freed!

The four are joined by a manticore, a giant serpent, an evil-looking tree, and a pile of rocks. EVIL rocks. Nightmare Moon waves a hoof at the distant Equestria.

EXT. CANTERLOT - DAYTIME
The city is a fantastical one, all towers and spires and domes surrounded by waterfalls and lakes, sitting on the side of a mountain like a watchful guardian. Unicorn ponies walk the streets. Perfect fluffy clouds fill the air. This is a place of magic and wonder.

PRINCESS CELESTIA - VOICEOVER
Spike, Nightmare Moon’s escaped!

INT. CANTERLOT THRONE ROOM
The room is well-lit. The unicorn pegasus pony Princess Celestia sits on her throne. She is graceful and radiant, a faint pinkish-white with rainbow-colored mane and tale. She wears golden vestments, her horn gleaming and her expression beatific. She is a kind, merciful, fun-loving ruler who only wants the best for her subjects.

Red and green sparkles are shooting into the air as two black unicorn ponies blow on massive horns in a pattern that sounds not too dissimilar from an alarm klaxon. Spike - a green and purple baby dragon - frets and paces on the floor as he rubs his scaly head. His expression is worried.

PRINCESS CELESTIA
Recruit a team of teen-ponies with the magic of friendship!

Spike lifts six scrolls into the air and breathes fire on them: they turn into rainbow-colored sparkles and fly through the sky.

EXT. PONYVILLE SQUARE
It is a fairly large and peaceful town. Everypony here knows everypony else’s names. Six pony friends are talking in the main square: orange earth pony Applejack, sky blue pegasus Rainbow Dash, white unicorn Rarity, yellow pegasus Fluttershy, pink earth pony Pinkie Pie, and purple unicorn Twilight Sparkle.
The six rainbow sparkles fly down to them, and briefly reform into notes, before the six ponies transform into columns of light and fly across the sky as a rainbow to Canterlot.

INT. CANTERLOT THRONE ROOM
The six ponies reform in the throne room before Celestia. The elements of harmony coalesce out of midair and settle around their necks, while a tiara settles on Twilight Sparkle’s head. All six glow with magic as the screen cuts to black and the title manifests.

The following sequences happen in rapid succession as a rocking power ballad begins playing, performed by Ron Wasserman and Masaaki Endoh in unison with JAM Project. Yes.
