Aren’t Pikachu, it’s evolution chain, and the Pikachu adjacent (Morpeko, Pawmi, etc) the most popular of Pokémon?
I mean, from what I understand from the lore, Mimikyu “disguises” itself as a Pikachu because it was more popular than it. I mean that’s the impression I got from a certain “vengeful” Mimikyu.
