Just curious, all the portraits of you usually involve Miranda in some obscure manner. What connection do you have with Miranda?

After some thinking, I came to eventually realize that I valued Miranda as one of my greatest character creations. Her presence in the Concession web game and her connection to Mire, my ambient album, made her a rather frightening and creepy character for most fans, and striking almost legitimate fear into people is not a very easy feat.

Plus, I realized that elements of her character - inky, amorphis black stuff - was something I had worked on a while ago when i was first learning to draw in middle school, so it almost feels like she's been there in my art for as long as I've been drawing.

Making her my "pet" almost makes Concession seem like I've set all these things in motion by letting loose my creation into their world, or by adopting the young ghost of Miranda and making her as powerful as she was.

Thus, I suppose she became important to me.
