August could feel the warm breeze of spring billowing his cape behind him as he looked out over the river Neris. He knew what that first warm gust of air meant: campaigning season. He knew what was coming, he knew what must be done. For his people, for his homeland, and for his gods, he would drive the crusaders into the sea.
