Commissions and patreon reminder
I have finished the forgefiend, other than some fine detail work and a paint job. That shouldn't be too hard though. I already have a method of painting it in mind. I'll greyscale it with some runefang, speed paint some kroxigor over the top then pick out the highlights and trim with some Ariman and Auric armour. Then I'll probably finish off the rubrics I started making. Might be able to use the special method I came up with for them. For anyone wondering, a Macragge base followed by a Thousand Sons layer and an Ariman highlight.
I have also got a comic/graphic novel in the works. It's still in its planning stage but I have the key concepts down. I'll rearrange the patreon system and put the pages up for early access on the lowest tier. Probably put it at 2 or 3 pounds. I have to rework it anyway because the 10 dollar (I hate that patreon doesn't allow you to switch currency) tier can't be achieved due to the software still not being usable.
Other than that commissions go a long way to help out. Patreon will also get you discounts on them as well or maybe painting for models and shading for digital art free of charge. I'm always looking for feedback or even just a hello from people.
For people that don't want to click the link,
Digital art starts at £5 for headshots, £10 for half-bodies and £15 for full-bodies. Cell and contrast shading is £2.50 extra but is free for patrons. I will also be offering full reference sheets for £30 including front, back and side views, colour pallettes, close ups of specific parts and anything else you can think of.
Models will mostly be larger ones like this one. Smaller models aren't economically viable but can be included with any model orders over £50. I may also offer warhammer units instead of individual models. I have a primaris unit nearly made if anyone wants to request a specific army. They were intended to be thousand sons but I only realised they were primaris scale after doing all 20 of them. 10 have been shortened but they are just torsos, legs and shoulders. Something like this would be £45 most likely, painting would bring it up to £50. I mostly go off of games workshop's prices but lower it if I can't make a good enough facsimile or keep it the same if it is. Feedback is appreciated on the price and the quality if you feel they match or want to give your input.
