didnt think i'd be able to get another page done before the weekend but I just managed to finally finish that blasted UNI assessment that was hindering my art progress. Just had to get this page done before cracking on with art that i owe people

I just noticed for the first time on this page that your coloring is slightly out of the lines in places, and your backgrounds and lines are a little squigglier than your normal commissions and things. It lends a lot to the babyish mood and environment you're creating with these.
I think that's a really cool trick for getting the tone across to the viewer subtlety, and I bet it probably saves time, allowing you to do a lot of these fast huh? ^_^

Yeah these pages are much much scrappier than a usual commissioned piece mainly because these are drawn for myself so I don't have to try exceptionally hard. Also most commissions I start off huge and scale down by quite a lot but these pages need to stay fairly big to read them so they're not shrunk as much meaning lots of the scrappy detail isn't hidden by the scaling down. I'm actually really enjoying the scrbbled look. It makes gem look softer due to the pressure sensativity
I wish you the best of luck to finish your Uni assignment so you can keep making super duper adorable pictures like this one! I love every expression you draw, those puppy eyes were adorable. I just feel a little bad for you, although at the same time you're bein' fussy, soooo... Be a good squirrel and wait till later to plot your revenge! Muhahaha!
