I am talking here about the distortion of principles and morality in totalitarian regimes where we are concerned about our lives or the lives of our loved ones and so our principles
are bending for our survival.

There is no need for obedience, there is a need for common sense and a mind, obedience means that if I tell you to jump into the fire you will believe me and jump into it, common sense means that you will tell me to fuck off.
But if I created certain conditions and applied pressure, you'd jump, because your common sense will be off.

I'm not talking about the rules we set ourselves, after all poorly made rules are meant to be broken.
