Done between late 2005 and mid-2006.
Except for some rare times (like with this picture), I never ever work in a "chibi" style - cutesy, maybe, but not full-out chibi. It's just not something I'm interested in that much. This wasn't even supposed to be a serious picture; I doodled it sometime during an art history class, thought it was cute, then fixed it up and used it to see if I could finally get the pen tool in photoshop to work like how I wanted it.
(Which I did, by the way.)
The character shown here is Cowrie, a furret pokemorph of mine who, sadly, doesn't get drawn as often as she should by me. I'd been meaning to draw her in red mage garb for the longest time (since red mages are one of my favorite Final Fantasy character classes)...maybe someday I'll attempt it again more in my actual style.
Done mostly in Photoshop 5.0, with Photoshop Elements used to paint the background.
Cowrie is mine, and the red mage outfit design belongs to Square Enix.
