Priestess Nina, long seen as a human woman who founded and ran the dragon-hunting Faction of Hope, has been outed as a dragon named Niona - she uses them for her own, malicious ends... ends that are thusfar unclear. As the balance of the twin worlds of Felnova and Kurai tip into critical levels, earthquakes and energy storms wreak havoc upon the land, ripping asunder continents, erase cities and leave many dead and dying in their wake. The Faction is falling apart, and the dragons and their allies struggle to rise to resist. Can they defeat Niona and restore the balance before it's too late?
