Titus looks down at the citizenry who have become accustomed to his grand status, many of whom look up to him with adoration as their protector; and yet they remain distant to our hero, who wishes for nothing more than to join them in their mundane lives.
A very quick digital sketch trying to get the character design down. Not sure about the anatomy and the proportions, but that's what you get when working entirely from imagination.

It goes without saying that giants are very tragic beings. They're just like us, except they're born too tall to live in a home, too strong to hold someone without hurting them. Everybody fears them, even if they're docile in nature. The sense of loneliness and alienation is a real killer, and I think this piece does an amazing job of capturing that sense of disconnection. Great work, dude.
Well, it's a nice breath of fresh air to see a much more realistic, pitiable macro character. You know, as opposed to all of the "ROAR RAMPAGE I'M GONNA EAT YOU" macros that seem to be the vast majority 'round here.
Er, not that I have anything against destructive/violent macros, of course! It's just nice to see more gentle giants in the mix.
