The Equirex is a massive ungulate, the largest species of equine on the continent of Elysium. With a lifestyle similar to Earth's zebras, the Equirex roam the planes in small groups consisting of mares and their offspring, all led by a dominant stallion.

Due to their size, raw muscle mass, and foul temperament, these herbivores are considered one of the most dangerous species on Elysium. All but the most ferocious and powerful predators ever dare take on one of these monstrous horses. Any meat eater that tries to tackle an Equirex needs to be prepared for a literal deluge of kicks and bites from the struggling horse; even the foals don't go down without a fight.
