Very lovely. I've had a very similar idea of a harpy in head, though my personal harpy is more bronze and clanky.

Mine ended up like this and I have no idea why.

Re: The feet. Buh. I have no idea. I draw the legs down as usual, then draw long lines representing the toe bones stretching out to where I want the toes to be. Then I fill in the rest of the detail, literally making it up as I go along.
