Taking a break from the Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournament, princesses Peach, Daisy, Zelda and Rosalina go shopping in New Donc city.
The foursome are having a great time until Daisy, Zelda and Rosalina notice that Peach has disappeared and decide to set out in search of her. At one point, Daisy and Rosalina hear Zelda screaming. Rosalina then hears Daisy screaming for help, and as she rushes down a dark alley, she is ambushed by the Koopalings and Bowser Jr, armed with scepters of powerful black magic that have neutralized the Cosmos princess's powers, preventing her from defending herself.
When they awoke, the quartet of princesses had been securely bound/gagged in chairs on the roof of one of the skyscrapers, and now had a front-row view of the next contestants in the tournament.
