This picture takes a little bit of backstory to get the full grasp of: Sushiko's developing in her pregnancy to the point that mobility is starting to become an issue, but Sushiko insists on still contributing to her family home despite her family's insistence that she should relax and just enjoy being pampered. Sushiko gets dressed (or rather, enjoys having her husband dress her) and insists on dressing with her full sense of elegance and style despite her size, and heads out grocery shopping in a china-type fabric dress and high heels.. ...with her husband paranoidly following behind her at a safe stalking distance in case something should happen.

...Something does. She trips on a crack between uneven pavement and as she's falling he DIVES to save her, using his own brand of magic to open a portal where they would fall to allow them to both land nicely upright.
