Well yes... though in different ways through the centuries as culture changes.
In Imuas time in the comic... that's just defiling a grave and destroying someones soul. It would probably get the person who broke it killed.
But in about 400 years after Imuas eventual death, the religion will have shifted to believe that knapping blades of these glassifeid, preserved people would imbue that blade with supernatural powers. So the heads and bodies would be knapped into blades that would serve in ceremonial and religious functions. To where they see it as good to break bodies that by that point would have been around for
centuries
But in Imuas current time. it is very much "These are sacred you must not break them lest the soul die forever." Time changes things
