The story in this image is that these cat hybrids were originally humans, but... The idea that meeting survivors on the surface, and helping them a little, resulted in them deciding to leave the familiar walls of this room (this is only the living part of the lab, not the place where they were created), and go traveling around the world that survived the disaster.
Unfortunately for me, only one character was named - Jerr (the one on the stairs). For the rest, I will come up with names sooner or later, it's only a matter of time.
