Talostra “Tal” Yetara, the daughter to the late empress Mayja Yetara, is the supreme leader of the planet Pel’vet. Though in recent times the empress has become expected to receive guidance from several advisors… Though she is not expected to take their advice.
This power does not follow beyond the realm of Pel’vet, though many would question if her authority even stands in the face of the CSS and its political system.
Under the CSS, Tal is appointed as the representative of the Plains and their species three main planets: Pel’vet, Antron and Haumea.
This is a quite complex affair as while Pel’vet is a monarchy, Antron is republic and Haumea is a directorial council. In turn, the two are not greatly satisfied to find their views being filtered to a singular person.
The CSS is very aware of this, but they have their reasons for keeping Tal to the front unlike the Rex Consul on Antron. Haumea however is a mess CSS won’t touch with a barge pole. (They don’t want to make room for 20 representatives)
It should also be remembered that the three plains planets had lived independently prior to the UEC arrival and CSS take over. Though Pel’vet was the first.
Points on Tal herself:
>She is an exceedingly young leader, only taking power at 20, she has only led for two years thus at 22 the majority of her peers both on planet and beyond are far older than her and carry much more experience and her advisor are almost always in her ear.
Additionally due to her mother’s experience before and in power, Tal was not coached as much, Mayja had wanted to wait a little more time… However, things did not go to plan and Tal was required to take power with zero notice.
>Due to her postion as Empress, Tal is used to uncontested interactions. The empress is the supreme power of Pel’vet and many would never go against her.
However, many of beyond the planet are not amicable to or do not care for the concept and while one would expect her to display insolence when things don’t go her way, in many cases, she is known to go very quiet and passive especially when faced with people who are a lot more forceful in their interactions.
>She is known for her ostentatious presentation with lots of jewellery and tasteful fashion. She always tries to dress up and has a keen interest in the new things being brought in from alien allies.
While many of these accessories are done by choice, the golden laurel crown holds both historic and cultural significance and it is the one thing she will wear at all times… (apart from sleeping, it’s awkward to wear to sleep)
>While it had not mattered before, Tal’s unmarried status gained a lot of attention once she came to power (for securing an heir). In turn meeting suitors is a common occurrence… (The end of every fortnight) This is usually limited to people of the planet of Pel’vet but Tal is not an idle hand, though she tries not to give away much on her romantic interests…
…
(If you would like to be considered as a suitor, please feel free to send an application or just show up. Remember, the guards are part of the challenge)
>Tal is good friends with a couple of the Yersin royal families. Though a little awkward faced with the wider Lupin species many Timbers are way too extroverted and Arctic really do not care about a funny looking small lupin.
Generally people do like her, though the reasons vary.
>While it looks strange the orange colour is all natural… (She does not smell nor taste of oranges). She is not a fan of the suggestion of fur dyes. However, she has had reservations on her teeth and while she dislikes brining attention to it, once all these modern medical wonder showed up, she got braces.
>Lastly… Tal is an avid reader and enjoyer of bee keeping, but she cannot keep plants for the will of God. By extension she is also a lover of honey and the newly discovered confection, maple.

*wonders if a Bassariscian would be able to take on the challenge* The size difference would be an interesting factor.
