So, Suzokon-kyō has Taran-ouji right where he wants him, pulls out a set of kitsunebi sai and fires off what seems to be his traditional warning shot, because I think if he wanted to hit Taran-ouji, he would not have missed.
Suzocon's guard is also down, because he's concentrating on the FRONT end of the quetz, and left his rear end unguarded. Is that the fatal mistake?

He already screwed that pooch once, which is why he's fighting Taran-ouji in the first place. He has a problem with premature victory dances. And you know Taran is pissed at this point. Instant defeat? No, but this fight ain't over. Suzocon COULD have ended it with his kitsunebi sai, but decided to show off instead.
Besides, the heroes are still busy. So the fight has to continue!
