Setting the Tone
It feels like we're always on our own little world doesn't it? having our own issues, adventures, or story to tell? It's interesting when you think about it. My social space fluxes often so one day I'm talking to some friends, next day a different set, though sometimes it be nice if others would engage the conversation first for once (personal gripe but eh what can you do?) There's so many friends I like poking just to see how they've been- like I said before we all have issues, adventures, and stories so hearing from friends what they got going on is a nice feeling.
In turn I share a part of my little world with them as well, making space for them so they can see my perspective or explore my likes, or maybe even having two friends meet and talk for the first time. While my world isn't massive I'm always glade to share it with friends who want to stick around and mingle.
