Ezin's tall stature could barely fit through the doorframe of the cottage.
Even as he scuffled forward, he was at risk of knocking everything over. He felt strangely alien in a family home such as this. But as his eyes scanned the surroundings, he could feel a familiar warmth emanating from the furniture.
Ezin looked off to the side to find a dresser stacked with various memorabilia and knick knacks. But what stood out most of all was the family potrait of Maria. Here, the warmth he felt, like when he met her, was at its strongest.
