Here's dat jellyfish I was talking about. Probably about 5" square, all acrylic.. Photoshopped somewhat because a)I don't really remember what it looks like in person and b) even if I did, there are things I wish I'd done differently so I figure it's fair. Plus, the scan never gets the iridescent paint (green circle, tentacle things) so I have to do something about that X)

Anyway, I did this while working with my good friend at her studio back in the day. It was a COMPLETELY maddening image and I had to redo certain parts (tentacle things, FUUUUUUUUU). But overall I'm happy with how it turned out and it was kind of an amazing learning experience. I'd love to try this again after having learned so much more about acrylic/gained new levels of patience for art :)

Thankfully this thing is in the possession of said studio friend, who I really have to thank for getting me into acrylics and kind of.. resparking my art brain over all (even though it took a long time to set in right). <3 you,  Birds
